BioPACIFIC MIP Co-Director Heather Maynard named Associate Editor of the Journal of the American Chemical Society

The Journal of the American Chemical Society (JACS) has named BioPACIFIC MIP co-Director Prof. Heather Maynard, the Dr. Myung Ki Hong Professor in Polymer Science at UCLA Chemistry and Biochemistry and Associate Director of the California NanoSystems Institute at UCLA, an Associate Editor. Heather is a recognized leader in the field of protein-polymer conjugates, having made major contributions to the development of new synthetic methods, strategies to improve material properties such as stability, and unique protein-polymer conjugates with applications in human health. Her passion for science extends far beyond her own research program toward the scientific community at-large, evidenced by active engagement in collaborative, collective efforts such as the BioPACIFIC MIP.
