The Opentrons OT-2 is a highly customizable, fully automated liquid-handling robot designed to streamline high-throughput laboratory workflows. It provides precise control over a wide variety of liquid transfer tasks.

System Specifications & Capabilities: Deck Capacity: 11 ANSI/SBS-compliant standard deck slots, plus one dedicated trash bin slot. The deck easily accommodates well-plates, pipette tip racks, heating/cooling modules, and custom labware.

Pipette Configuration: Equipped with interchangeable 8-channel Gen2 pipettes (20 µL and 300 µL volume ranges) for flexible multi-channel dispensing.

Advanced Liquid Handling: Capable of transferring standard solutions as well as viscous liquids.

Workflow Development: Researchers can rapidly build and customize standard protocols using Opentrons' intuitive web-based Protocol Designer. For complex or highly specialized experiments, custom workflows can be programmed in-house, including the integration of custom ANSI/SBS-compliant plates.
