Yu-Jin received her Ph.D. degree in the Department of Polymer Nano Science & Technology at Jeonbuk National University, South Korea under the guidance of Prof. Kwang-Un Jeong in 2020. During her Ph.D., she designed and synthesized photo-responsive supramolecules to apply for actuators and smart windows. In 2020, she joined the Ortony group in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at MIT as a postdoctoral researcher. She conducted research on polymorphism in molecular self-assembly by aramid amphiphile in water system. Yu-Jin currently focuses on flow chemistry for polymer synthesis in Bates and Read de Alaniz groups at UCSB as a postdoctoral researcher.
