Zoey is a postdoctoral researcher in Prof. Rachel A. Segalman's group. She focuses on developing bio-inspired polymers to make high-resolution photoresist materials for lithographic applications. Zoey is a Chemical Engineer by training, with a Ph.D. degree at UMass Amherst in 2020 and a B.S. degree at Drexel University in 2015.
Zoey develops bio-inspired polymers for use in nanotechnologies and applied materials science. In her postdoctoral work, she develops sequence-defined polypeptoids as high-resolution photoresist materials for DUV/EUV lithographic printing. And she was the first person to electrospin a fully water-based, unentangled polyelectrolyte solution into nanofibers. Her work takes advantage of the power of bio-inspired polymers to make applied materials in nanotechnologies more user-defined and environmentally friendly.
